San Mateo Line’s models have been featured in several railway magazines and publications. Below you can find the featured articles in PDF format. Simply click on one of the links to open the article. You will find handy hints and examples for setting up and controlling/automating the signals.
Each design is made from brass etchings to faithfully reproduce every detail of the originals signalling equipment. Searchlight Signals come with tricolour LEDs for realistic signal operation. Semaphore Signals have operating signal arms and LED’s fitted for the signal Lamp. Signal Arms can be operated by Servos, slow motion point motors, or manual levers.
Our unique models are provided a range of designs, eras, and an equally wide range of possibilities. Most of the range is HO scale, with a limited amount of N Scale kits.
Kit Form Or Finished Model? Many train enthusiasts love to build their own trains, landscapes, and designs. We therefore offer a choice of kit form models or finished models, according to your preferences.
